IDEAS Conference

Glacier Hills Elementary School of Arts and Science
IDEAS Conference 2012
Integrate, Design & Enrich with Art and Science
-->
On Saturday, October 6, 2012, Glacier Hills hosted the IDEAS Conference.  For this event, our teachers planned, prepared, and volunteered their time.  They hosted this free event to teach other teachers about the wonderful ways they are working with students at our school.   The conference showcased multiple ways to use inquiry in multiple settings, by a variety of teachers. Each presentation centered around standards-based, fresh ideas that area highly engaging for student learning.

Teachers from all over Minnesota were invited to come and visit our school and get a first-hand look at how we are teaching our students with inquiry and infusion of art and science.  It was a great success.  Below is a slide show with photos and feedback from the event.  Thank you to everyone who was involved!
